The MBA with a specialization in Strategic Management and Leadership is a rigorous, 30-credit graduate degree program in business. It teaches foundational business skills in the MBA core, plus specialized knowledge in the effective management of global organizations and human capital management. Graduates of the program should be strategic thinkers with a well-developed sense of social responsibility and ethics.
First-time freshmen must show satisfactory completion of (or current enrollment in) at least 16 units in prescribed and elective subjects:
- English: 4 units
- Mathematics: 3 units
- Science: 3 units
- History: 1 unit
- College preparatory electives: 3 units
Freshman must complete the SAT test or ACT test and have a cumulative GPA of 2.5.
International students must have their transcripts evaluated by World Education Services (WES) indicating a course-by-course equivalency and must meet the above admission criteria as first time freshmen or transfer students. In addition to these requirements, International students must have scored at least a 550 (paper), 213 (computer) or 80 (internet) on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or 88 on the Michigan Test of English Language Proficiency (MTLP). Additionally, the University recognizes the STEP Eiken Test. Students with Grade 1st and Pre-1st levels have met English Language Proficiency. Finally, the University will accept a score of 6 or better from the International English Language Testing System (IELTS).
